Values-driven CLAM blueprint

Values-driven CLAM blueprint that works for any group of decent, like-minded people, without being salesy.

Step 1: Observe & Listen

  • Join the group and watch conversations for a few days.

  • Identify members who are thoughtful, active, and respectful.

  • Avoid immediately posting or adding people — first, understand the group culture and tone.

Step 2: Comment (C)

  • Add meaningful, value-driven comments on posts.

    • Encourage others, share insights, or ask thoughtful questions.

    • Example: “I love your point on [topic] — I’ve noticed the same when trying [personal growth/action example].”

  • Focus only on connection and value, not business or products.

Step 3: Like (L)

  • Like posts and comments of people you genuinely resonate with.

  • This signals interest and alignment without being pushy.

Step 4: Add (A)

  • After some interactions (a few thoughtful comments or exchanges), send a friend request.

  • Include a personal note referencing the shared discussion:

    • Example: “Hi [Name], I really enjoyed your thoughts on [topic] — would love to connect with someone who thinks similarly.”

Step 5: Message (M)

  • Only message once trust and familiarity is established.

  • Focus on relationship-building, not selling.

  • Sample first message:

    • “Hi [Name], I saw your comment in [group] about [topic]. I also focus a lot on growth and improvement in [area] — thought it’d be great to connect and exchange ideas.”

  • Let the conversation develop naturally before mentioning anything you offer.

Step 6: Invite or Share Strategically

  • Only after building trust can you invite them to your group or resource.

  • Position it as sharing something helpful, not selling:

    • Example: “I’ve created a small space for people focused on growth, health, and freedom — would love to have you join if it resonates.”

Key Principles

  1. Relationship first, opportunity second.

  2. Be authentic — only connect with people you genuinely resonate with.

  3. Avoid spamming or pitching in the main group.

  4. Consistency over speed — 5–10 quality connections beat 50 shallow ones.
